Droopy is an animated cartoon character, an anthropomorphic dog (a basset hound), created by Tex Avery for theatrical cartoon shorts produced by the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio in 1943. Essentially the polar opposite of Avery's other famous MGM character, the loud and wacky Screwy Squirrel, Droopy moved slowly and lethargically, spoke in a jowly monotone, and, though he didn't look like much, was shrewd enough to outwit his enemies.

Excel Saga (エクセル・サーガ, Ekuseru Sāga?) is a comedy manga series by Koushi Rikudou,[1] and a TV anime series directed by Shinichi Watanabe.[2] Both the anime and the manga are absurdist comedies following the attempts of Across, a "secret ideological organization," to conquer the city of Fukuoka as a first step towards world domination. Excel, the title character, is a key member of Across and ranks below only the organization's enigmatic leader, Ilpalazzo. In both the manga and anime, the city is defended by a shadowy government agency led by Dr. Kabapu, whose subordinates engage Excel and her junior officer, Hyatt, on several occasions.

Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru (処女はお姉さまに恋してる, Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru? lit. The Maidens are Falling in Love with Elder Sister), commonly known as Otoboku (おとボク, Otoboku?), is a Japanese visual novel developed by Caramel Box and released on January 28, 2005 as a limited edition. The original version, first available on the PC, contains adult-only content of a sexual nature. Subsequent releases included a consumer port on the PlayStation 2 with the adult content removed and a version of the game which was a DVD playable on a PC and included full voice acting. The story centers around a feminine male high school student named Mizuho Miyanokouji, who transfers into an all-girls school due to his grandfather's will. A common theme throughout the series is the pseudo-lesbian relationships that Mizuho gets put into for being a very popular student at his new school.

Wedding Peach (愛天使伝説ウェディング・ピーチ, Ai Tenshi Densetsu Wedingu Pīchi?, literally "Legend of the Angel of Love: Wedding Peach") is a shōjo manga by Nao Yazawa and Sukehiro Tomita that was originally serialized in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine. In North America it is translated and published by VIZ Media in its entirety, comprising six volumes.[1]

The manga later was adapted into an anime television series that was directed by Kunihiko Yuyama and ran for 51 episodes on TV Tokyo from April 5, 1995 to March 27, 1996 [2] and spawned a 4-episode OVA sequel (Wedding Peach DX) in 1996. [3]

The anime (which is co-produced by KSS, TV Tokyo and NAS) is licensed for distribution in North America by ADV Films, and they have released both the TV series and OVA series onto a total of ten DVD volumes.

In 2004, Wedding Peach: Young Love was released, a compilation of Wedding Peach stories made specifically for the monthly magazine Shogaku Sannensei ("Elementary School Third-grader").[4] To better fit the magazine's target audience, the "Young Love" version of Wedding Peach features younger-looking characters, less complex storylines, and simpler dialogue.

Macross 7 (マクロス7, Makurosu Sebun?) is an anime television series. It is a sequel to the show The Super Dimension Fortress Macross that takes place many years after the events of the first series following a cast of mostly new characters. The show ran from October 16, 1994 to September 24, 1995 at 11:00 AM, and 49 episodes were aired. Currently the series is not licensed for distribution in any English-speaking country. This is due to both licensing issues involving the music, and an ongoing dispute between Big West and Tatsunoko Productions/Harmony Gold over the right to distribute The Super Dimension Fortress Macross outside of Japan. In fact the cost of licensing is suspected to be so high that Manga representative Keith Burgess stated at Anime Central 2004 that "It would take all the anime companies working together to be able to afford to bring the series over to America".
